Since Day 46 I have worked out some kinks that came up in the set up of my A/B split test. I worked through it documenting what happened and what I did to resolve each issue. I really had to work through some frustration and do plenty of trial and error tests to get things validated and working properly. Some of that is due to my technical skills being limited, I mean, I’m not a programmer so when I follow instructions when adding codes and there is a bug, I have to really dig in and research what it could be and how to fix it.
I created a tutorial for those like me, who are less technical, but who still need to get the job done. You can find details about the experience in the post titled A/B Split Test Set-Up Tutorial.
I hope it helps you save some time. Sure wish I had something like it when I was spending hours working through issues!
The test is ready to go, so I will be ordering some solos to schedule out over the next 2 weeks. I will report the results of each ad, and then analyze the test as whole. I can’t wait to see what goes down.
Push Into Other Traffic Sources
Now that I am back into the swing of things, I need to push into some other traffic sources. I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve, but I will most likely be working on a report detailing a few specific traffic methods and how they compare with each other. For example, I want to cover thing like:
- Is the method free or paid, if paid how much
- How does each method convert
- How much time is required of me to set up or maintain each method
I think traffic generation can be overwhelming and I’d like to do some testing and get some data so that I can decide where to concentrate my efforts.
Two Main Tasks
Those are my two main tasks for the next two weeks and that’s as far as the plan goes for now. I need to focus on getting these two projects done, and there is plenty of work involved in doing so. I’ll be reassessing goals and planning out the remainder of my 90 Day Blog Challenge soon. As always, I’ll keep you posted.
